Join us for virtual worship on Sunday, February 7, 2021!

Middlebury Congregational Church celebrates Communion on the first Sunday of the month, so this is our chance to gather for the Lord’s Supper. In the Sanctuary, the deacons would serve bread and grape juice to you in your pew. When we worship at home, we provide our own elements, so bring your own juice (or wine) and bread (or crackers) and join us!

This week, Pastor Katrina Manzi will be preaching on “Resurrection and Remembering” with lectionary Scripture readings from Isiah 40:21-31 and Mark 1:29-39. Our handbell quartet will perform “Jesus Will Reign” as a musical offering.

Join us on our YouTube Channel and say hi in the chat! We look forward to meeting you!

Here are copies of the Bulletin and Congregational Crier for you to follow along.

MCC votes to join Litchfield South Association

At its annual meeting on January 31, 2021, Middlebury Congregational Church voted unanimously to withdraw from the Naugatuck Valley Association and seek to join the Litchfield South Association of the United Church of Christ.

Regional associations are organized among peer churches to support local ministries and pastors. Middlebury shares the Region 15 school district with the town of Southbury and our members have many other historical and community connections with Woodbury, Bethlehem, and other towns in Litchfield South. We hope to be admitted to the new Association at its spring meeting in May.
